CIIE 2021 in Shanghai - China International Import Expo

Nature DK is proud of participating CIIE for the second time with other Danish companies, which present Danish food quality and creation in Danish national pavilion in Shanghai. 

Danish Ambassador to China, Thomas Østrup Møller visited Nature DK's stand, and highly 
praised Nature DK's efforts to build up the bridge between Denmark and China, especially in the sustainable food section, organic food and sustainable life style.

Nature DK participated  in Biofach Shanghai for the third time

Denmark has a long tradition for high quality food and healthy food, including organic food. Denmark is also one of the countries with the highest food safety and safety control system in the world. 

 

At the annual food fair: BioFach Shanghai 2017,  Nature DK took part in the Danish pavilion to present high quality Danish food, especially organic food. The fair took place from 25th May to 27th May, and all three days resulted in many interesting talks and new positive business contacts.

 

Mr. Ma Aiguo, senior officer from Agriculture Ministry of China visited the exhibition and Nature DK’s stand. He discussed the development trend of organic food in China and other food safety issues with Managing Director, Cynthia S. Nielsen of Nature DK, and highly praised Danish government’s efforts in organic sector.

FHC China 2014 - Danish Minister visit

The Danish Minister for Food, Agriculture and Fisheries, Dan Jørgensen, visited The Danish Pavillion and Nature DK at the FHC China 2014 in November in Shanghai.

 

Minister and Managing Director, Cynthia S. Nielsen of Nature DK discussed the development trend of organic food in China and other food safety issues.

 

The day before the opening of the exhibition, The Royal Danish Consulate General in Shanghai held a VIP Gourmet Event for  Minister and the Danish participant companies. The Danish Embassy, Consul General, Minister, Nature DK, and Nature DK's VIP guests met together to enjoy the Nordic cuisine and strengthened the culture understanding and business relationship.

 

On-site inspections for the organic certificate

During June the Chinese inspectors of the Chinese Organic Food Certification body took on-site inspections for Nature DK's products in Denmark. Every supplier and sub-supplier of Nature DK's  organic products participated in the inspections required.

 

 

 

 On-site inspection for the Chinese organic certificate is required with regards to all aspects of production.

 

Several Ministers and HRH the Prince Consort participated in the State visit to China in April 2014, accompanied with a business delegation, including Nature DK.

On 24 - 28 April 2014, Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Prince Consort paid a State visit to China accompanied by the new Danish Minister for Food, Agriculture and Fisheries, Mr. Dan Jørgensen. With the intension of creating increasing focus on the Danish food and agricultural sector in China yet again, the Food Team in Trade Council China carried out a series of activities where Chinese and Danish authorities, organisations and companies participated together.

 

The Royal Couple were accompanied by a large delegation from the Danish Agriculture & Food Council and a large Danish business delegation of over 160 participants, including Nature DK.

In every aspect, Nature DK got very positive feedback but especially in the organic food sector we witnessed progress, new possibilities and added value.

 

 

 

 

 

FHC China 2013 - Danish Minister visit

The Danish Minister for Food, Agriculture and Fisheries, Karen Hækkerup, visited The Danish Pavillon and Nature DK at the FHC China 2013 in Shanghai and she showed great interest in the trade of Danish organic food to Asia.

Managing Director, Cynthia Song Nielsen, explained how Nature DK specializes in export of Danish high quality food for the Asian market. The Danish Minister found this very positive and she especially expressed exitement and appreciation when she was told Nature DK's brand name: "Smagsriget" (Kingdom of Taste).

This she found very appropriate and spot on. 

 

The Danish Minister for Food, Agriculture and Fisheries was invited to FHC China 2013 in connection with a series of meetings in China with governmental officials. The Danish Government supports the Danish business activities in China in every possible way. Therefore, the Minister was to meet with the four Chinese ministries that are crucial for Danish agriculture and food businesses operating in China. During her visit to China, she was also in charge of a large-scale food security conference where all the involved Chinese ministries participated. 

 

In Beijing, the Minister also participated in several Danish companies' presentations, where she was presented to the Danish companies' successes and challenges in China. Besides the Minister's busy schedule, the Minister then participated in FHC China 2013 in Shanghai, which is one of China's most important food fairs. The Minister expressed, "Denmark has a long tradition for high quality food and healthy food, including organic food. Denmark is also one of the countries with the highest food safety and safety control system in the world. We would like to share our experience with Chinese government and consumers."

Nature DK has participated at the FHC China 2013 in Shanghai with great success, where the Danish Minister for Food, Agriculture and Fisheries together with the Consul General of Denmark attended the opening ceremony for the Danish pavillion.

 

At the annual food fair: FHC China in Shanghai, Nature DK took part in the Danish pavilion to present high quality Danish food, especially organic food and natural food. The fair took place from the 13th of November to the 15th of November and all three days resulted in many interesting talks and new positive business contacts.

 

Managing Director, Cynthia Song Nielsen exibited Danish high quality food from Nature DK's brand Smagsriget (In English: Kingdom of Taste), such as: natural honey , delicious organic jam, organic canola oil, oatmeal and cereals both regular and organic.

 

All in all, FHC China 2013 proved to be a very good experience and a good start in China for Nature DK, which expects a flourishing and prosperous future in China.
