Honey
Smagsriget offers two kinds of Danish honey; a Springtime honey and a Late Summer honey. Both kinds are from Danish beekeepers and are 100 % natural, -no artificial ingredients or preservatives are used. As a result the honey can be slightly different in taste and texture from season to season, but the honey is always very sweet, full of flavour with a rich aroma and 100 % natural. Honey from Smagsriget is a Danish high quality product always.
Luxury Danish Honey

Luxury Danish Honey - Springtime Honey or Late Summer Honey from Smagsriget.

Smagsriget offers Danish Honey depending on weather conditions and how busy the danish bees have been during the changing seasons.
Springtime Honey has a mild taste of the early wild flowers, clover, apple blossom and rapeseed. The honey is thick and set but light, almost white in it's colour and very sweet.
Late Summer Honey is thick and dark in its' colour with a deeper more intense sweet taste of summer flowers and linden trees.
All Danish Honey from Smagsriget is collected in idyllic surroundings on the Danish island Funen. Here you have green hills, forest, lots of organic fields and wild flowers on the side of the narrow roads, where also the famous writer Hans Christian Andersen once walked as he found inspiration for his lovely tales. This natural environment gives the Danish bees perfect conditions for gathering their nectar which eventually becomes the delicious honey you will find in jars from Smagsriget.
This 100 % pure natural honey from Danish beekeepers is suitable for sweetening all of your food dishes. Use it in your favorite tea, in hot dishes or simply smear it on a fresh piece of bread.
Tip: If you heat a small amount of honey in the microwave, the honey will become liquid and easier to work with e.g. on pancakes or waffles, but remember to use the heated honey immediately because of reduced durability.

Dana Honey

Dana Honey from Smagsriget. 100 % pure and natural.
Dana Mountain Honey, Dana Blossom Honey, Dana Acacia Honey and Dana Yellow Flower Honey are four different types of honey. Mountain Honey, Blossom Honey and Yellow Flower Honey are set and dark in colour all with their very own distinctive sweet flavor, whereas Acacia Honey is very light and liquid. All types of Dana Honey are of course sweet and delicious.

The Forest Honey is dark in its' colour but very light and liquid, which makes it perfect for desserts but the Forest Honey is suitable for sweetening all of your food dishes.
Use it in your favorite tea, in hot dishes, on pancakes and waffles.
